Care Tips

What To Do

  • Shower with warm, not hot, water, and DON'T stay in too long
  • Apply body lotion while your skin is still damp (within 3 minutes after showering!)
  • Choose a gentle and moisturizing body wash
  • Use a humidifier in your room, especially when the AC is blasting
  • Drink enough water throughout the day
  • Layer products: lotion → cream → ointment for super dry areas
  • Gentle exfoliation once a week to slough off flaky skin

What To Avoid

  • DON'T shower with hot water – it strips your skin's natural oils!
  • DON'T wait until your skin is completely dry to apply lotion
  • DON'T scratch itchy skin – it can make irritation even worse!
  • DON'T use harsh bar soaps
  • DON'T skip moisturizer, even if the weather is hot

Suggested Routine

  1. 1Shower with a gentle body wash or cleansing oil
  2. 2Immediately after showering, pat your skin until it's semi-dry
  3. 3Apply body lotion or cream all over your body
  4. 4For extra dry areas (elbows, heels), add body butter or petroleum jelly
  5. 5At night, you can 'slug' dry areas with Vaseline
